How NEAT runs it

Every job starts with a scope review against your plans and specs, so the bid lists what's included room by room. We staff with local crews and send a site lead who walks the work with your superintendent before we leave.

Most commercial projects need two or three trips: a rough clean during finishes, a final clean before punch, and a touch-up before turnover. We'll price them separately so you can carry only what you need.

Anything outside the written scope, like extra return trips, heavy debris haul-off or paint and adhesive removal beyond normal construction residue, is priced at a posted T&M or unit rate. You won't get a surprise change order.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a rough, final and touch-up clean?

A rough clean removes debris while trades are still on site. The final clean is the detailed, top-to-bottom clean before punch or inspection. A touch-up clean is a quick refresh right before the owner takes the building.

How far out should we schedule the final clean?

Two to three weeks is ideal so we can line up crew size and any lift equipment. We can often mobilize faster when a schedule slips.

How do you price post-construction cleaning?

By scope and square footage, using production rates from our own completed jobs. You get a line-item price for each phase and each optional item.

Are you insured, and can you add us as additional insured?

Yes. NEAT Cleaning carries general liability and workers' compensation. We'll send a COI naming your company and the owner as additional insured when you request it.

Do you handle prevailing wage and certified payroll?

Yes. We bid prevailing-wage public work in Iowa and Illinois and can submit certified payroll on the schedule your contract requires.
