About NEAT Cleaning
A Construction Cleaning Sub Built for GCs
NEAT Cleaning started in 2019 in Davenport, Iowa. We moved from residential cleaning into commercial and post-construction work, and today construction closeout is our main business.
How we got here
NEAT was founded in 2019 while Adam, one of our founders, was investing in real estate full time. Cleaning for his own projects turned into cleaning for contractors, and the company shifted to commercial and post-construction cleaning.
How we work
- Bids built from your plans and specs, with each scope priced as a line item
- Local field crews, with a NEAT site lead on every job
- An OSHA 30-trained site safety lead and a written safety program
- Clear T&M and unit rates for anything outside the scope
- Hands-on hiring, so we know who's on your site
Who we work for
We work mostly as a subcontractor to commercial general contractors and construction managers, plus owners and facility managers who need a building turned over. Recent work includes industrial plants, college and K-12 schools, a federal facility and food production.
Meet the owners
NEAT Cleaning is owned and run by brothers Adam and Zachary Hendershott. Adam handles bids and contracts, and Zach runs the work in the field.
