Winsor Data Center Turnover Clean
Detail turnover cleaning of offices, data halls and raised-floor areas at the Winsor data center, including tile-pull cleaning under the floor.
The challenge
Data halls need more than a surface clean. Raised floors hide dust and debris in the plenum, and the GC's scope grew as the return-to-site work expanded. Each added raised-floor area had to be priced without double-counting base work.
The scope
- Return-to-site detail clean of about 33,000 sq ft: offices, support rooms, data halls, scan center and growth suite
- Full tile-pull cleaning of raised-floor areas, with new low-lint cloths misted with diluted cleaner
- Interior glass, entrance and canopy glass
- Debris consolidated to the GC's container
- A compressed five-day plan run by project manager Zachary Hendershott
The result
Added raised-floor areas were priced as separate alternates, with overlapping base work credited back, so the GC saw exactly what each area cost.
